Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and improve our digital products.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.
- Conduct regular design reviews and critiques to maintain high-quality output.
- Review and provide feedback on design work from team members to maintain quality and consistency.
- Develop project timelines and milestones and monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to communicate design ideas.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Analyze user feedback and activity to understand user behavior and preferences.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to ensure design excellence.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
- Conduct usability testing to identify and solve UX issues.
- Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of user interfaces.
Required Skills/Abilities
In this role, you are required to have the following:
- Proven working experience as a UI/UX designer
- Portfolio of design projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS; knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
Education and Experience
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the people with background in:
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
