2. RESEARCH & INNOVATION INTERN

6. EDTECH INTERN
We are looking for highly motivated, passionate, and committed individuals to join our EdTech Project team.
As our EdTech Intern, your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to the team to achieve all the deliverables.
WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES WILL LOOK LIKE
- Assist in the daily cleaning of the student’s database and updating report on the student dashboard
- Assist in Learning feedback tracking per student
- Assist in regular weekly and quarterly radio/SMS Quiz readiness
- Assigning and creating of task on Check4Me App in galvanizing Student’s registration
- Checking through Submissions on Submittable to ensure files are properly named and submitted to the right forms

7. GEOSPATIAL DATA INTERN
We are seeking young and vibrant project interns/assistants (4) with interest in Geographic Information system (GIS), spatial analytics and Data Visualization, who will work in our research and consulting team to design and implement custom mapping, spatial analytics, data visualization and reporting solutions in a super exciting work environment.
Some of your daily schedule will include the coordinate longitude/latitude location analysis, mapping of population distributions, business location/social amenities coordinate analysis using nearest neighbor analysis and extrapolated analytics with platforms like GRID3 etc.
WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES WILL LOOK LIKE
- Analyzing spatial data through the use of mapping software.
- Discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping of data and dashboard development.
- Designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources.
- Producing maps showing the spatial distribution of various kinds of datasets
- Developing mapping applications and tools.
- Produce reports on geographic data utilizing data visualizations.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information science, social science, management or related field preferred.
- Our projects are interdisciplinary and as such we are flexible to accommodate expertise from a range of varied disciplinary backgrounds (e.g. geography, demography, statistics, mathematics, economics, physics, computer science, health sciences, epidemiology etc).
- Experience of computer programming (R or Python), statistical analysis, familiarity with any GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS, MapBox, Carto), tools (Open StreetMap, Earth Observation, GRASS GIS, FalconView etc.) data visualization and basic database design would be advantageous.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
